As a chatty and friendly Aquarius, it is amazingly easy for you to get caught up in talking about “doing.” That may sound strange, but talking about what you could be doing, or might be doing soon, isn’t the same as actually undertaking new those activities.
It isn’t about changing habits. It’s about the “idea” of doing it. And again, for you as an air sign—and especially as an Aquarius—ideas can be incredibly stimulating.
However, if your objective is to alter elements of your life, you actually also have to be prepared to make those changes—whatever their nature, whether it’s in habits, how you live, your routine, the clothes you wear, or the places you go. And, of course, it may have to do with your activities out in the world, or your job, if you go to one.
The trick is understanding that this isn’t about a major change. Sometimes a minor alteration that will jar your habits will begin the process of shaking things up, which in turn gets you considering options that, only recently, you never would have thought of.
This isn’t about a single occasion. It’s about developing the habit of exploring regularly. Once you begin doing that, life will suddenly become a much more exciting thing, one full of opportunities and adventures that previously you hadn’t spotted.
Hanging out with old friends and family can be wonderful, but new individuals add spice. Those that are the most important, however, are the ones who challenge you to go some place new, do something new, and perhaps break those reassuring yet restrictive habits.
The emphasis is often on what you eat and how you work out. The single idea of learning a new skill regularly is brilliant. It not only gets you interested in things, it is a type of mental push-ups. It exercises your mind in ways you might not otherwise be doing.
