While the idea of feeling joy is wonderful, as a Capricorn, you tend to think such feelings must be earned through a certain amount of focus or effort or achievement.
There is no arguing that both effort and getting things done merit exactly such feelings. Yet it is worth reflecting on your reaction to upbeat feelings of this nature that appear “magically.” That is, you can’t think of anything you’ve done to earn them.
Actually, the fact is, joy is there waiting for you at any time. It has nothing to do with what you’ve achieved—or done for others. It exists. And the challenge for you is to overcome the Capricorn doubt that has convinced you that you aren’t allowed to feel sheer joy until you achieve certain things or overcome certain obstacles or, perhaps, have dealt with the task at hand.
This is a kind of guilt that most Capricorns wrestle with for a while—until they have that amazing breakthrough that is about joy, and about the fact that it’s always been there waiting to be discovered. It’s just the direction you look in and your sense of the right to have it, and to have it at any time.
Once you know that’s true, then nothing and nobody can take it away from you. It will always be there walking beside you and shedding its light on you.
Most people have to live in the world with others and the drama that goes on with them can be a compelling one. Both you and others are judges, but also serving each other in some way. It would be a great play, but because it’s real life, you are better off approaching it with compassion.
Being in shape is great; being able to lift weights, or eating the right thing, or having a trim body, is fabulous. All of that is wonderful, especially being able to zip up those jeans. But what about your inner fitness? Because that influences you 24/7, whether or not you’ve got your jeans on.
